BJP has suspended its “Pilgrimage of Jan Akrosh” Rajasthan general secretary Arun Singh said on Thursday that given the rising number of coronavirus cases globally,

On Thursday, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also expressed concern over the rise in COVID-19 cases globally. He asked states to remain vigilant and raise awareness about wearing masks and using hand sanitizer, especially in light of the upcoming holidays and New Year’s celebrations.

In a statement in the Lok Sabha, Mr Mandaviya said the evolving nature of the virus poses a global health threat, affecting almost every country.

The minister said India reported an average of 153 new cases per day, compared with 587,000 reported cases worldwide every day.
