Video editing app DaVinci Resolve is now available on the App Store for iPad. DaVinci Resolve is a popular professional grade video editing and color correction application designed by Blackmagic. The company announced earlier in October 2022 that the app will be available for iPad and is now available on the App Store. It is optimized for MultiTouch technology and Apple Pencil. It supports cutting and coloring pages, color finishing tools and the latest HDR workflows. iPad users can download DaVinci Resolve for free.

DaVinci Resolve for iPad offers similar features and tools as DaVinci Resolve 18 for desktop. However, it only has minor changes in the user interface.
Although DaVinci Resolve for iPad usable Free on the App Store, users can get DaVinci Studio as an in-app purchase for $95 (nearly Rs. 7,900). Users will get Blackmagic Cloud multi-user collaboration, AI-based magic masks, voice isolation, conversation equalizer and more.It’s optimized for edited cut pages and 12.9-inch color pages iPad Pro exhibit.
According to the previous Blackmagic blog post, DaVinci Resolve on iPad will deliver up to 4x the performance boost for Ultra HD ProRes rendering via the M2 chipset. Additionally, it supports Apple Neural Engine functionality, multi-user collaboration via Blackmagic Cloud and more. File formats supported by the app include H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW.
The app allows users to edit videos from iPad storage, Photo Library and iCloud as well as external USB type-C disks. Plus, it works with Apple Pencil, Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard, and Smart Keyboard Folio. The app is compatible with iPadOS 16 or newer. It also supports HDR on the iPad Pro M1 or newer models, while older iPad models will have HD support and memory limitations.
