Every year, the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction sees some unknown faces scoop up big deals from franchises. Ahead of the IPL 2023 auction, some of the more extravagant talent has emerged and the cricketing world has high hopes for them. Suresh ReinaOne of the top scorers in IPL history, he listed the names of the top young players on whom he has high hopes. While Raina’s roster has many Indian talents, the former Indian cricketer also singled out a 15-year-old non-rotational player from Afghanistan.
As an expert at Jio Cinema, Raina picked out the mujitaba yusuf with Samas Vyas From the Indian Domestic Task Force. But the retired cricketer also had high hopes for the 6ft 2in player. Almighty Allah Muhammad.
“I played with Mujtaba (Yousuf) in Syed Mushtaq Ali. As a left-arm fast bowler, he had good movement and good swing control. Then there was Samarth Vyas from Saurashtra, who hit more than 150 and was top five in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and just won the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is a very good future prospect. But watch out Allah Muhammad. At 6-foot-2 and only 15 years old, he’s an aspiring jumper. A lot of talent comes from Afghanistan,”Reina said.
At just 15 years old, Allah Mohammad is already gaining a lot of attention. As the youngest player registered for the auction, the Afghan wunderkind could be on the shortlist for many franchises, especially for those looking to develop long-term.
Whether he manages to secure a deal from the IPL franchise will only be known on the day of the auction.
