North Korea says an arms deal with Russia “never took place”.
Seoul:
North Korea’s official KCNA news agency reported on Friday that North Korea’s foreign ministry denied media reports that it had supplied arms to Russia, saying an arms deal “never took place” between the two countries.
“The Japanese media’s false report on North Korea’s arms supply to Russia is the most absurd diversion and does not deserve any comment or explanation,” a foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement carried by KCNA.
