Aaditya Thackeray was targeted by his opponents due to the death of Disha Salian.
Mumbai:
Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray said today that he “would not give a dime” to charges related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s talent manager Bollywood agent Disha Salian.
A BJP leader has demanded a drug analysis test on the former Maharashtra minister, questioning why his name was linked to Disha Salian’s death.
“I will not give a cent to these allegations. Clearly, this government is afraid of a 32-year-old,” Aaditya Thackeray told NDTV.
Disha Salian allegedly committed suicide on June 8, 2020 after falling from a 14-story building. A week later, on June 15, Sushant Singh Rajput shocked the country when he committed suicide by suicide.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said yesterday that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) will investigate Disha Salian’s death and appealed for evidence from the public.
Questions and theories surrounding the death, which have been swirling on social media since members of the ruling Eknath Shinde-BJP coalition called for an investigation and targeted Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and his son Aaditya, were revived this week. become the focus of attention.
Eknath Shinde’s party lawmakers raised the news of Disha Salian’s death in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Later, the topic was brought up in the Maharashtra state assembly.
Aaditya Thackeray said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s MLA was pressing the issue to protect him from corruption charges brought by the opposition.
