Actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan, families of freedom fighters and top Congress party leaders are expected to join Rahul Gandhi on Saturday for his “Bharat Jodo” in Delhi, party sources said. Yatra”.
“Senior Congress leaders and MPs, families of freedom fighters and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MKM) President Kamal Haasan are likely to attend Bharat Jodo Yatra in the capital,” a source told the Press Trust of India on Friday.

Anil Chaudhary, chairman of the Delhi Congress, said at least 40,000 to 50,000 yatris are expected to attend the yatra festival in the national capital.
“People from different fields will join the yatra which will enter the border of Badarpur at 6 am. Then we will walk to Ashram through Apollo hospital, after which the yatris will take a lunch break and rest for a while. We will resume our yatra activities from 1 pm Ashram started,” Mr Chaudhary said.
After a lunch break, the pilgrimage continues to Nizamuddin and then to Indian Ring Island – Idong – Delicant – Daryaganj and finally to the Red Fort.
Thereafter, Rahul Gandhi and some Yatris will drive to Rajghat, Welbumi and Chantivan and lay flowers.
After a short break from Saturday night, the yatra will resume from Uttar Pradesh on January 3 before heading to Haryana again in the second phase before traveling to Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir.
Yatra was launched in Kanyakumari on 7th September covering Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It completed 100 days on December 16th.
