India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test match, Day 2 Live Updates: India dominates proceedings against Bangladesh in Mirpur’s ongoing second Test. India trailed by four wickets but Rishabh Pant’s quick-fire fifty gave the hosts a strong platform to take a first-innings lead. The unbeaten partnership between Pant and Shreyas Iyer came after India’s top order collapsed. Taijul Islam has been the standout bowler for Bangladesh and he has taken three wickets so far – KL Rahul (10), Shubman Gill (20) and Cheteshwar Pujara (24). Meanwhile, Taskin Ahmed bagged the wicket of Virat Kohli (24). Earlier in the first day, India beat Bangladesh by 227 runs after the hosts opted to bat in Mirpur. For India, Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets each, while Jaydev Unadkat scored two on his return to the team after a 12-year hiatus. For Bangladesh, Mominul Haque scored a solid 84 runs before being dismissed by Ashwin. (live scorecard)
