The Indian cricket team won their Test series against Bangladesh 2-0 but the score did not reflect the true result of the series. In the second Test, the team had to rely on Ravi Chandran Ashwin Secured wins as top batsman, including alternate captain Kuala Lumpur Rahul with Villacolli keep struggling. Kohli played so well that even his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma didn’t hesitate to criticize him. He even said the manner in which Virat left was “unacceptable”.

in chat india news sportsRajkumar Sharma said it was “unfortunate” to see a batsman of Virat Kohli’s level struggling against a spinner from Bangladesh.

“The batsmen were very disappointed when they were out and Virat Kohli was aggressive by nature,” he told India News Sports. “But the way he came out was unacceptable. It was unfortunate to see a batsman of his size struggle against the Bangladesh spinners. He should have shown more intent.

Rajkumar also advised Kohli to hit the ball with a free mind with the aim of unnerving the spinner.

“He could have played a little more freely with center fielders and center fielders in the circle. He wouldn’t let you in unless you messed with the spinners. You need to do something innovative like Hit a hard sweep or a sweep outside the ball,” he further explained.

India’s top four batsmen, including Rahul and star batsman Virat Kohli, have struggled against spin for some time. India are still in contention for the World Test Championship (WTC) final and they will have to beat Australia in next year’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy. There is no doubt that India will be the favourites, having lost just two Tests domestically in the past decade. But their hitting doesn’t exude the same confidence as it has in the past.
