Jammu and Kashmir:
TV actor Tunisha Sharma’s partner Vineet Raina said on Monday that if her mother said she took her own life due to the stress of breaking up with Sheezan Khan, the police should investigate the case from all angles.
Mr Raina’s statement comes after Tunisha’s mother accused Sheezan of cheating on her and breaking her promise to marry her. She urged police not to let him go.
“She must have told her mother about the relationship, and if her mother said she did it because of a breakup, the police should investigate the death from all angles,” he told ANI in an interview.
Mr Raina remembered Tunisha as very positive, lively, very talented and an emotional girl.
“The last time I saw her was on December 10th, my last day of filming, as my role was coming to an end. She was crying when I left. The last time I spoke to her was when she invited me to her On her birthday. She was very talented and a very good singer. She used to sing on set and wowed us all. She was a very good soul and we lost her so quickly,” Raina said.
Regarding her relationship with accused Sheezan Khan, he said they looked happy and professional on set.
“I have never seen them fight. Whatever happened between them was off-set. They were very professional. I trust the Mumbai police and they will definitely investigate all aspects of the case,” he said.
He expressed his grief over Tunisha’s death, which he said was a sad end for a co-star and someone with a promising career.
Raina said: “It’s sad to hear about it. She has a promising career ahead of her. It’s very unfortunate. I’m devastated.”
Tunisha was found dead on December 24 on the set of a TV series, according to Walif police. They received word that after a coffee break the actress went to the toilet but did not return and police broke into the house and found her hanged.
Police did not find a suicide note at the scene.
