Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul likely to miss home series against Sri Lanka: Report

The source added that KL will get married during the episode airing. Sri Lanka will travel to India to visit three T20Is and three ODIs from January 3rd to January 15th. It’s worth noting that Rohit and KL don’t have a good bat in 2022.

Rohit Sharma is making multiple attempts to live up to his ‘killer’ tag in 2022. In the two tests this year, Rohit scored 90 out of an average of 30 and a best score of 46.

In eight ODIs he has scored 249 runs at an average of 41.50, his best score in three and a half centuries at 76*.

Overall, Rohit has scored 995 runs in 40 innings this year, failing to break the 1,000-run mark. Those runs averaged 27.63 with six fifty. For the first time since 2012, he went a full year without an international hundred.

KL, on the other hand, took four Tests this year and he scored 137 points with an average score of 17.12, including a score of 50. He scored a top score of 50 in this year’s test.

In 10 ODIs this year, he scored 251 points, averaging 27.88 points per game, with a best score of 73 points in two and a half centuries.

In 16 T20I games this year, he scored 434 points, averaging 28.93 per game, six and a half centuries, with a best score of 62 points.

Overall, KL has scored 822 runs at an average of 25.68 in 30 matches this year, with nine half-centuries.
