Indian cricket thrashed Australia in the first Test of the 4-match series in Nagpur, beating the visitors by 1 innings and 132 runs. The match saw India completely beat Australia in all divisions of the game. While the victory was certainly historic for the hosts, the chatter surrounding the nature of the stadium did leave some ardent fans of the game a little sad. In response, the India captain admitted that the whole “pitch talk” made him feel bad because Nagpur’s wickets were more concerned than the players’ technique.
“Same pitch. Like I said, our conversations in the locker room, it’s about your ability and what you can do on the pitch. I don’t understand why there’s so much talk about the pitch. It’s a pity to see no Enough talk about skills,” Rohit replied.
