Miracle survival stories continue in Syria and Turkey
Idlib:
More than 28,000 people were killed in massive earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, with thousands of rescue workers still searching for collapsed buildings.
Amidst the devastation and desperation, stories of miraculous survival continue to emerge.
In one such rescue, an entire family was rescued in western Syria’s Idlib province earlier this week.
Three children and two adults were pulled from the wreckage of their home as a large crowd cheered and chanted “God is great”.
The video of the rescue was shared by the White Helmets, a Syrian civil defense volunteer organization.
“A true miracle…the sound of joy filling the sky…unbelievable joy. This afternoon, Tuesday, February 7th, in #Idlib. #Syria #earthquake,” the White Helmets tweeted .
