Yashraj Mukhate reprises ‘Besharam Rang’ as Shammi Kapoor as ’60s song

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Pathaan, is breaking all box office records — one in a day. In India, the film grossed Rs 4,482.5 crore within 17 days of its release. Social media has been flooded with videos of social media influencers and fans re-creating and dancing to the film’s songs.Recently, social media influencer and music producer Yashraj Mukhate played a hilarious version of ‘Beshram Rang’ Set in the 60’s.

Mr. Mukhate is known for creating wacky and funny remixes, and he posted a rather hilarious video to his Instagram username. He imagined how the song would have sounded if it had been written in the ’60s. He wrote “Sorry” in the caption and tagged Vishal and Shekhar.

The video starts with the music producer explaining how the song would have sounded if it had been recorded in the 60s. Mr Mukhate revealed that he was inspired by actor Kettan Singh to create it. The clip features Shammi Kapoor with a slow, sad song playing in the background.

The video has already racked up 1.4 million views on Instagram and sparked a flurry of hilarious reactions. Music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani also responded to the video. Vishal Dadlani let out a laughing emoji when Shekhar Ravjiani wrote: “Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha…that’s awesome!”

One user commented, “Now take a 60’s song and make a full faadu like a Besharam Rang song.”

“Sounds like a Mohammad Rafi song,” wrote another.
