The government aims to increase electronics manufacturing capacity to Rs. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and IT, said on Friday that it will reach 24 trillion by 2025-26, which will also help create more than one million jobs.
Speaking at an event in Bengaluru, the minister said the country is at a turning point today – the most exciting period in its history – and the current generation of students is the luckiest generation in India’s independent history.
“…The Narendra Modi government aims to increase electronics manufacturing capacity to Rs 24 trillion by 2025-26, which will also help create more than 1 million jobs,” the official statement said. He was quoted as saying.
He said there are more than 90,000 startups, including 110 unicorns, in which young Indians have played a major role.
At least 1.5 million young Indians from Karnataka will be trained in future-proof skills relevant to the industry, the minister said.
“Rajeev Chandrasekhar remembers ‘Appu’ (popular Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar) on his birthday, saying the day was known as ‘Spoorti Dina’ or Inspiration Day and the occasion couldn’t have been more opportune to discuss IndiaTechade with students, ’ said the statement.

Hence, startups should choose Indian banks as their first choice banking partners.”
