With cool breezes, luxurious mountains and a fun-filled ride, the perfect mountain station road trip seems like a dream come true. However, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys road trips, there are a few things you need to be aware of before embarking on your journey. In addition to packing the right clothes and shoes for the mountains, you should also plan your meals and avoid certain foods that can make you sick and indigestion en route. While dining al fresco can be a great experience, or even the highlight of your trip, it’s crucial to be mindful of what you spend. To make your journey smoother, we’ve put together a list of foods you should avoid while heading to the mountain station.
Here are 6 foods to avoid on road trips to mountain stations:
1. Greasy food
Greasy and oily foods should be avoided when heading to mountain stations. Why? Because these foods are high in carbohydrates and fats, making them unsuitable for your stomach and causing indigestion. Foods like pakoras, aloo tikki, french fries, chips and even fried chicken should be avoided while traveling.
