In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Akhtar is seen cracking a healthy joke with former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh. In the video, Akhtar shared the Feslabad Test incident that took place during India’s visit to Pakistan in the 2005-06 season.
Akhtar recalled Harbhajan’s reaction after he hit two huge sixes in the first innings.
“Should I speak out about what happened in Feslabad?” Akhtar said in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel.
Harbhajan Singh, who also hit Akhtar for six in the same match, replied: “No, I did not misbehave. I hit you for six and you got angry ‘how could he hit me like that?’.”
However, Akhtar responded: “No. You misbehaved after I hit two sixes.”
“When he lost the war of words, he started using force,” Harbhajan replied, as Akhtar jokingly punched him in the stomach.
On Saturday, the Asian Lions will face the Maharajas of India. The two teams will meet for the third time this season.
While the Asian Lions won the first match by nine runs, the Maharajas of India beat them by 10 wickets in the second.
The World Giants lead the standings with six points from four games. The Asian Lions are second with four points played in as many games, while the Indian Maharajas have only won one game so far.
