The first is a kiwi and dragon fruit topping cake with chocolate twigs and pink floral details.next to it is a golden cake, which is basically a crunchy coating with candles and a message that reads “Cheers 80 years.” Karan Johar wrote in the caption: “My brave and resilient mom turned 80 today. She taught me how to love…how to stand up for what I believe in…never apologize or defend yourself if I’m right… …Never pretend to be anyone.”

In his long essay, Callan called his mother his “fashion police” and “hero.” The director and producer shared that even today, she’s the only person he’s “still scared of.” “She is both my conscience and my fashion police…and the only person I’m still afraid of…I love you, mom, to earth and back…” I could never have raised Roohi and Yash without you,” Karan Johar wrote on the birthday note. He also added a hashtag that read “mymommyhero”. Check out the photo below.
