Madhuri Dixit pays final tribute to her mother Snehalata Dixit, died earlier this week in Mumbai at the age of 90. The actress held a prayer meeting for her late mother in Mumbai on Friday night. The actress attended the prayer meeting accompanied by her husband Shri Ramnene. Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur came to pay their respects to Madhuri Dixit’s mother. Jackie Shroff, filmmakers Subhash Ghai and Sooraj Barjatya, who worked with Madhuri in the ’80s and ’90s, were photographed attending the prayer meeting.Filmmaker Boney Kapoor, actor Riteish Deshmukh (who worked with Madhuri Dixit on whole law) also attended the prayer meeting.

Madhuri says Paying tribute to her mum on social media by sharing this throwback photo, she wrote: “Woke up this morning to find Aai’s room was empty. Felt surreal. She taught us to embrace and celebrate life. She gave so much Much. We will miss her terribly, but she will live on in our memories. Her wit, positivity and grace were contagious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Om shanti om.”

Madhuri Dixit’s husband Shriram Nene announced the death of his mother-in-law in an Instagram post earlier this week. He wrote: “Our beloved Aai, Snehalata Dikshit, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones. I am exhausted physically and mentally. But the love from my family, friends and all of you made it all became bearable. She was a saint: full of energy, wisdom, patience and a sense of humor that cut through all obstacles. We will miss her but never forget her. Her memory will keep her alive in all of us heart.”
Work-wise, Madhuri Dixit was last seen on Amazon Prime Video’s Ma’s last year.She also starred in the Netflix series fame gamealso starring Sanjay Kapoor and Manav Kaul in early 2022.
