Delhi Police want to know details of those women from Rahul Gandhi.

Senior officers of the Delhi Police arrived at Rahul Gandhi’s residence today for his remarks that “women are still being sexually assaulted” during the pan-India foot march ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.police Notification sent to congressional leaders On March 16, he asked him to provide details of women who had approached him about sexual harassment.
Top Congress leaders including Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Rajya Sabha MPs Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Jairam Ramesh also arrived at Mr Gandhi’s residence.
Several congressional staffers have been taken into police custody, sources said.
Police sent a questionnaire to Rahul Gandhi after noticing the posts on social media. Mr Gandhi has yet to respond to this.
Rahul Gandhi made a statement in Srinagar during the Bharat Jodo Yatra saying, “I have heard that women are still being sexually assaulted”, police said.
The Delhi Police want to know the details of these women of Rahul Gandhi in order to take legal action.
Senior police officials, as well as officers at the level of the police special commissioner, will attempt to speak to Mr Gandhi to obtain information about the women.
Top Congress sources said there was no legal precedent for issuing a notice against Rahul Gandhi based on a suo motu or complaint. The grand old party sees this as another harassment tool deployed by the Delhi Police. “There can be a statement, but they cannot compel him to reveal the victim’s name. This behavior is malicious and false,” they said.
A Delhi police source said that if he does not provide details, another notice will be issued to him.
“As this is a sensitive case involving the lives and safety of individuals, the team is working diligently to gather relevant information to ensure evidence and witnesses are not tampered with,” they said.
Congress leader Pawan Khera questioned why the police asked the question 45 days after the end of the Yatra. He added that the government was “nervous”.
“We will respond to incidents as required, but is it right? It has been 45 days since Bharat Jodo Yatra ended and they are still asking. It shows that the government is nervous. I have been blocked from entering from today. Why? Mr Keira explain.
Aam Aadmi party leader and Delhi minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said his party was a direct competitor in Congress and could leave no doubt that it was wrong to say the center was “abusing” the investigative apparatus against Rahul Gandhi. However, he also took a dig at Congress, referring to comments made by its leaders about central agency action against AAP leaders.
“We have always said that the central government is abusing its institutions. We can say without hesitation that if the institutions are being abused, even Rahul Gandhi is wrong. This should not happen. We are not the kind of people who are willing to oppose Cheers to Rahul Gandhi’s actions, as Congress leaders have often told us. If these institutions are misused, it is wrong. This should not happen,” he said.
